Big Brother UK 8 Cast Updates

Big Brother series 8 was the eighth season of Big Brother UK.

BB8 ran from 30th May to 31st August 2007 and was presented by Davina McCall.

The Big Brother 8 house was located in the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.

Amy Alexandra Amy Alexandra was evicted in week 10.

She gained 58% of the vote to evict against Sam and Amanda Jonty and Kara-Louise.

After Big Brother, Amy returned to glamour modelling.

Amy was a glamour model before entering the house

She is now a Make up Artist.

Amy works as a manager at a lash company.




Billi Bhatti Billi Bhatti was evicted in week 4.

He gained 55.1% of the vote to evict against Carole and Tracey.

After Big Brother, Billi met girlfriend Holli in Las Vegas and had a son called Austin.

He has had Twitter rows with other ex BB house mates from other seasons.

These include Rylan and John James.

Billi became a wrestler and wrestled under the name Billi Lightning.

He is a podcast host on Lock Betting and Sports Gambling Podcast.




Brian Belo Brian Belo was the Big Brother 8 winner.

He gained 60.3% of the vote to win against Sam and Amanda.

After Big Brother, Brian and Amanda dated briefly.

Brian appeared on Hollyoaks, Harry Hill’s TV Burp, Dead Set, Come Dine with Me and a Coach Trip special.

He had an online column for Heat Magazine during Big Brother 10.

Brian returned to the house twice for tasks.

He returned for Big Brother 16 but left by escaping the house.

In 2013, he reached a million pound out of court settlement with the makers of TOWIE.

He claimed that he played a part in coming up with the concept of the show.

Brian released single “Essex Boy”, which failed to make it into the charts.




Carole Vincent Carole Vincent came fifth place in the final.

She gained 4.9% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Carole posed nude for Closer magazine.

She looked fabulous.

In 2008/9, she was arrested and later cleared of stealing a police baton during an anti-war protest.

In 2021, she was in the news for heckling Sir Keir Starmer at a party conference.

Before Big Brother, Carole was a council candidate for George Galloway's Respect party.

She did not win a seat in the election.

Carole continues to attend protests.




Chanelle Hayes Chanelle Hayes voluntarily left in week 9.

She left due to the pressure of her relationship with Ziggy.

After Big Brother, Chanelle appeared as a model in lads magazines.

She released a perfume called “Mwah”, which sold well.

In 2008, she wrote a column on Big Brother for Star magazine.

Chanelle dated Jack Tweed, Matthew Bates, father of Blakely and Ryan Oates, father of son Frankie.

She released pop single, “I Want It”.

It reached number 63 in the UK charts and was top ten hit in Turkey and Russia.

Chanelle owns a bakery business and is a make up artist.

In 2024, she married Dan Bingham.




Charley Uchea Charley Uchea was evicted in week 8.

She gained 85.6% of the vote to evict.

After Big Brother, Charley did various modelling gigs for the lads mags.

She was papped falling out of press parties and events.

She owned a furnishings store called Belle Chic, which has now closed.

Charley is barely recognisable from her BB days.

She is now a model and influencer.




David Parnaby David Parnaby was evicted in week 10 spending only 4 days in the house.

He gained 37% of the vote to evict against Kara-Louise, Shanessa and Tracey.

After Big Brother, David did not stay in the limelight.

He returned to a career in retail.

In 2017, he was arrested for drug possession and spoke out about his addiction.

David is currently working in sales and events.




Emily Parr Emily Parr was removed from the house in week 2.

She genuinely showed remorse and apologised for the racist language she had used.

After Big Brother, Emily went to University to study acting and drama.

She had a small part as an extra in the film The Wolfman.

Emily also had small roles in theatres around the South West.

She also appeared in a number of the lads mags after leaving the house.

Emily is a blogger and vlogger and shares content across a number of platforms.




Gerry Stergiopoulos Gerry Stergiopoulos was evicted in week 12.

He gained 3 out of 3 votes to evict chosen by Samanda, Tracey and Ziggy.

After Big Brother, Gerry became an Agony Uncle and Author.

He wrote book Treat them Mean, and Keep Them Keen and has written columns and articles for many magazines.

Gerry is also a scriptwriter.

He wrote 11 episodes of Loveline for MTV Italy.




Jonathan Durden Jonathan Durden left the house voluntarily in week 6.

He left after being told that his Grandmother had died.

After Big Brother, Jonathan has had a very successful career in PR and media.

He wrote a book called ‘Essex, Drugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll’.

Jonathan is a successful businessman.

He co-founded male grooming range Below The Belt.

Jonathan also co-founded PHD Media.

He is currently non-executive partner at 3RockAR.




Jonty Stern Jonty Stern came sixth place in the final.

He gained 3% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Jonty stood as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Totteridge in the 2009 by-election.

He did not win the seat.

Jonty is a tour guide.

He offers tours around London.




Kara-Louise Horne Kara-Louise Horne was evicted in week 12.

She gained 30.8% of the vote against Jonty and Tracey.

After Big Brother, Kara-Louise made a few public appearances.

She has stayed out the limelight.

Kara-Louise now lives in Harrow with her son.

She completed her teacher training and is now a teacher.




Laura Williams Laura Williams was evicted in week 5.

She gained 68.1% of the vote to evict against Chanelle.

After Big Brother, Laura was approached by Lads Mags to pose topless.

She refused due to her career in childcare as a nanny.

Laura appeared in the pantomime Aladdin at the Parc and Dare Theatre, Treorchy.

She had a breast reduction to help with the back pain she suffered in the house.




Lesley Brain Lesley Brain voluntarily left the house in week 2.

She claimed that she was bored in the house.

After the Big Brother house, she wrote a book about her experiences in the house.

It was called A Minority of One.

Lesley wrote columns for various newspapers and magazines about Big Brother.

She also had a number of articles published on local issues.

Lesley returned to University, gaining a Masters in Psychology.

Her husband passed away in 2015.




Liam McGough Liam McGough came in third place in the final.

He gained 19.1% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Liam spent the £100k on his family.

His mum had MS and he also put some towards a house.

Liam has since returned to his previous career as a tree surgeon.

He sadly lost his mum in 2008.

Liam ran the London Marathon, raising money for the MS Society.




Sam and Amanda / Samanda Marchant Sam and Amanda / Samanda Marchant came in second place in the final.

They gained 39.7% of the vote to win against Brian.

After the Big Brother house, they released a cover of Barbie Girl.

The single reached number 26 in the charts.

They released a perfume called Samanda and a beauty range.

The sisters also released a fitness DVD and did some modelling work.

The twins were also briefly the face of Hello Kitty.

They now both work in fashion.

Amanda is a merchandiser for ASOS.




Nicky Maxwell Nicky Maxwell was evicted in week 7.

She gained 76% of the vote to evict against Gerry.

After Big Brother, Nicky works as an events manager for charity The Peace Hospice.

She initially began working for them as a fundraiser.

In 2009, she got married to her partner Jeremy.

In 2012, they welcomed a son called Max.




Shabnam Paryani Shabnam Paryani was evicted in week 2.

She gained 81.4% of the vote to evict against Carole and Tracey.

After Big Brother, Shabnam was on the 8 out of 10 Cats Big Brother special.

She had various office based roles in and around London.

Shabnam retrained in drama and appearing in many plays and films.

She has recently reappeared on social media, filming content on space.




Shanessa Reilly Shanessa Reilly was evicted from the half way house in week 9.

She gained 38% of the vote to evict.

After Big Brother, Shanessa did not enter the celebrity circuit.

She returned to her career as a care assistant.

Shanessa lives in Cardiff with her partner and children.




Tracey Barnard Tracey Barnard was evicted in week 12.

She gained 38.5% of the vote to evict against Jonty and Kara-Louise.

After Big Brother, she decided not to enter the celebrity circuit.

Tracey did a public appearance at her local Co-Op.

She charged a £5 charity donation to have a photo taken with her.

The money was donated to a local childrens charity.




Ziggy Lichman Ziggy Lichman came fourth place in the final.

He 15.3% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Ziggy did the press circuit.

He appeared in Dead Set and posed semi naked in a womens mags.

Ziggy dated model Chloe Pridham.

He has been linked to Stephanie McMichael and Kara Tointon.

Ziggy was a doorman at nightclub Paper in Soho and later Movida London.

He was Owner/Managing Director at Arabella's House in Kendall Rise.

The bar closed in 2022.

Big Brother series 7 was the seventh season of Big Brother UK.

BB7 ran from 18th May to 18th August 2006 and was presented by Davina McCall.

The Big Brother 7 house was located in the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.

There were 22 Big Brother series 7 contestants.

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace came third place in the final.

She gained 22% of the vote to win against Glyn and Pete.

After Big Brother, Aisleyne became a glamour model.

She turned down a place in Ultimate Big Brother to film for Brit film Anuvahood.

Aisleyne has appeared in numerous TV shows including Dead Set, Celebrity Coach Trip.

She also appeared on T4, Big Brother’s Bit on The Side and Big Mouth.

Other shows included Loose Women, Screenwipe and Celebrity Salon.

Aisleyne has her own fashion label “Unique by Aisleyne”.

She has written columns and articles on Big Brother.

Aisleyne released book “Aisleyne: Surviving Gangs, Guns and Glamour”.

She has done a lot of charity work including being a patron of Brain Tumour UK.

In 2022, she had a go kart accident and was injured.




Bonnie Holt Bonnie Holt was evicted in week 2.

She gained 78% of the vote to evict against Glyn.

After Big Brother, Bonnie was ruled out of returning to the house for legal reasons.

She appeared in lads mags including Nuts Magazine.

Bonnie had a son.

She sells personalised videos on Memmo.




Dawn Blake Dawn Blake was ejected in week 2.

She was removed after claims she received a coded message.

After Big Brother, Dawn told police that she was held in the house against her will.

She went on hunger strike until unedited tapes were released.

Ofcom rejected her complaint that the show had been edited to “humiliate and misrepresent her”.

Dawn complained to the PCC about The Sun about an article they wrote about her.

This was resolved when they published a letter from her with her side of the story.

She quickly disappeared from the spotlight.




George Askew George Askew left the house voluntarily in week 2.

He left the house as he did not want to be famous.

After Big Brother, George started working at Channel 4 as an Assistant Publicist.

He later worked in sales and marketing for various firms.

George was Sales and Business Development Director at The Gentleman’s Journal.

In 2015, he moved into investments with a role at Force Over Mass Capital.

He is partner at MD One Ventures and Co-Founder at Thema.




Glyn Wise Glyn Wise came second in the final.

He gained 38.8% of the vote to win against Pete.

After Big Brother, Glyn has appeared in TV shows and radio broadcasts on S4C and Radio Cymru.

He published a book in 2007 about the year after Big Brother House.

It was called Blwyddyn Fawr Glyn Wise or Glyn Wise’s Big Year.

Glyn returned for a task in Ultimate Big Brother in 2010.

In 2012, he began teaching Welsh at a secondary school.

In 2016, he stood in the election as Plaid Cymru’s candidate in Cardiff Central.

He did not get the seat and resigned from the party the same year.

Glynn competes in athletics events.

He has appeared on BBC Radio Cymru.

Glynn has studied at Theological college, training to be a priest.

He remains close friends with Pete and other housemates.




Grace Adams-Short Grace Adams-Short was evicted in week 4.

She gained 87.9% of the vote to evict against Nikki.

After Big Brother, Grace lived in the House Next Door briefly.

She and Mikey are still together.

They married in 2009 and had daughter Georgiana in 2012.

The couple had three further children.

Grace runs a performing arts school called Studio 76 in Liverpool.

She also owns The Grace Academy of Performing Arts, in Plymouth.

In 2007, she won Cirque du Celebrité despite performing with a broken foot!




Imogen Thomas Imogen Thomas was evicted in week 12.

She gained 62% of the vote to evict.

After Big Brother, Imogen became a glamour model.

She appeared in TV shows including Dead Set, Celebrity Coach Trip and Come Dine With Me.

In 2011, it was revealed that she had a relationship with a married footballer.

A gagging order prevented his name from being released and it was others who revealed it.

Imogen has had a string of relationships with celebrities.

She was with Adam Horseley for 6 years.

They had two children together.




Jayne Kitt Jayne Kitt was evicted in week 9.

She gained 67.1% of the vote to evict against Richard.

After Big Brother, Jayne had a few appearances on TV shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats.

She returned to a career in recruitment.

Jayne briefly had an agent but none of her projects came to anything.

She married her partner and now goes by Jayne Murray.




Jennie Corner Jennie Corner came sixth place in the final.

She gained 0.9% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Jennie appeared in a cooking show with Glyn.

Jennie did numerous glamour model shoots for lads mags.

She came third in “Miss Cheshire” 2007 winning a modelling contract.

Jennie was a bank manager for RBS and was Operations Manager at Assurant.

She is Thrive manager at The Oaks Academy Crewe.

Jennie played for Crewe FC.




Jonathan Leonard Jonathan Leonard was evicted after just 5 days in the house.

He was chosen by Aisleyne to be evicted.

After Big Brother, Jonathan returned to Northumbria University.

He completed a BA Hons Performing Arts/Acting.

Jonathan is now an actor.

He also works door security and is a DJ.




Lea Walker Lea Walker was evicted in week 7.

She gained 53.8% of the vote to evict against Richard.

She re-entered the House Next Door and was evicted again in Week 12.

After Big Brother, Lea starred in an adult film.

She had a radio show on Gaydar Radio with Richard called The Dick and Dolly Show.

Leah released a book entitled Living With BDD (Body Dysmorphic Disorder).

She has also done various modelling jobs including for the lads mags.

Leah is an OnlyFans model.




Lisa Huo Lisa Huo was evicted in week 5.

She gained 60.3% of the vote to evict against Imogen, Mikey and Nikki.

After Big Brother, Lisa did nightclubs and premiere rounds for a year.

In 2009, she became a plumber after returning to college and completing a plumbing apprenticeship.

Lisa posted a number of vile posts on Facebook that landed her in court.




Michael Cheshire Michael Cheshire was evicted in week 10.

He gained 9.7% of the vote to save.

After Big Brother, Michael faded back into his old life of meditation.

He appeared on Judge Rinder about an unpaid loan from Aisleyne.

Michael was a Porter at Firmdale Hotels.




Mikey Dalton Mikey Dalton was evicted in week 11.

He gained 48.5% of the vote to evict and moved into the House Next Door.

He was evicted again after failing to win the vote to re-enter the main house.

After Big Brother, Mikey and Grace married in 2009.

The couple are still together and have four children.

He is a DJ, appearing in clubs around the world.



Nikki Grahame Nikki Grahame was evicted in week 8.

She won the public vote to re-enter and came fifth in the final with 6.5% of the vote.

After Big Brother, Nikki starred in “Princess Nikki”.

Nikki won a National TV Award for Most Popular TV Contender.

She starred in adverts for Dominos Pizza.

Nikki appeared on The Weakest Link, Big Brother’s Little Brother and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Nikki had a column in OK! Magazine commenting on Big Brother.

She wrote two books on Anorexia, Be Thin and Fragile.

Nikki returned to the Big Brother House for Ultimate Big Brother.

She came second place to Brian Dowling.

Nikki competed in Big Brother Canada in 2016, where she came in sixth place.

Nikki sadly died on 9th April 2021 following a battle with anorexia.



Pete Bennett Pete Bennett was the Big Brother 7 winner.

He gained 61.2% of the vote to win against Glyn.

After Big Brother, Pete released a book, Pete: My Story after leaving the house.

In 2010, he announced he was divorcing wife Gemma after 6 months.

They had previously married on Living TV’s Four Weddings.

Pete performs with band Pete Bennett & The Love Dogs and is an actor.

He entered rehab and set up a celebrity cleaning company Celebriclean.

Pete has appeared in a number of short films and feature films.

He remains friends with a number of housemates from his series and other series.



Richard Newman Richard Newman came fourth place in the final.

He gained 9.2% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Richard appeared in Attitude Magazine and hosted Mr Gay UK.

Richard became a host on digital radio station Gaydar Radio, interviewing a number of celebrities.

He was also host on The Dick and Dolly Show with Lea.

Richard writes articles for various publications as a freelance writer.

In 2016, his claim for unfair dismissal was dismissed.



Sam Brodie Sam Brodie was evicted in week 3.

She gained 53.7% of the vote to evict against Nikki.

After Big Brother, Sam is back living as Samuel.

He has since had a baby with his girlfriend.

Sam has presented various TV shows on Indonesian TV.

He has also appeared in 78 movies, a cooking show and a daytime talk show.

He released autobiography Samuel Samantha & Me.

Sam is a brand ambassador for Microskin International.



Sezer Yurtseven Sezer Yurtseven was evicted in week 2.

He gained 91.6% of the vote to evict against Lea and Richard.

After Big Brother, Sezer was dating Imogen on and off.

He describes himself as an Entrepreneur.

Sezer has been Director of various companies, many of which are now dissolved.

He has been disqualified from owning a company since 2014 for conduct reasons.

Sezer now works as a campaigner for homeless charities.



Shahbaz Chauhdry Shahbaz Chauhdry left the house voluntarily after 5 days.

He left after struggling with his mental health.

After Big Brother, Shahbaz threatened to sue Endemol.

He was unable to find work, living on benefits.

Shahbaz appeared on an 8 out of 10 Cats BB Special.

He also appeared on Friday Night Project, Big Brother's Little Brother and Big Brother's Big Mouth.

In 2009, he said in an interview that he was still having nightmares from his appearance on Big Brother



Spiral Coroner Spiral Coroner was evicted in week 10.

He was evicted with 9.7% of the vote to save.

After Big Brother, Spiral produced a top ten hit “Finglas” in Ireland.

In 2007, he stood in for Mark Ronson’s drummer on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross Christmas Special.

He played drums with the Kaiser Chiefs in the episode.

Spiral is a now a DJ.

He was invited back for Ultimate Big Brother but declined.

Spiral went viral in 2020 after being filmed arguing in a supermarket after refusing to wear a face mask.

His son Elgin with model Sinead Murphy is an up and coming professional golfer.



Susie Verrico Susie Verrico was evicted in week 11.

She gained 59.4% of the vote to evict against Imogen and Jennie..

After Big Brother, Susie has done a number of modelling shoots including for lads mags.

She appeared in many adverts including Mastercard, Fray Bentos and Pot Noodle.

Susie also had a regular slot on This Morning with Richard and Judy.

She also appeared in a number of music videos, usually for rock bands.

Susie lives a lavish life with husband Cosmo Verrico, sharing snaps on her life on Instagram.

Anthony released a workout DVD called Anthony's 70s Disco Workout .

In 2007, Anthony began dating Zoe Birkett but they split in 2011.

Anthony returned to the house for various tasks.

He returned for a picnic with Makosi in Ultimate Big Brother.

In 2012, he became a barber.

In 2016, he opened a barbers/cocktail bar in Darlington.

He is the founder of Never Throw In The Towel Project.

Anthony is a keynote speaker and speaks out on male suicide.

He appeared on documentary Surviving Reality: Beyond the TV Dream.

Anthony is married with two sons.



Craig Coates Craig Coates came fifth place in the final.

He gained 3.9% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Craig had NSFW pictures leaked online of him.

He opened his own salon in Cromer.

This closed due to him having a hand injury and being unable to work.

In 2014, he joined the Navy before leaving in 2020.

He met his partner there and they married.

In 2021, Craig took over Chalk Hairdressing in Norwich.



Derek Laud Derek Laud was evicted in week 10.

He gained 58% of the vote to evict against Eugene.

After Big Brother, Derek became a regular on Sky News.

He has appeared on celebrity ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’

Derek also writes features for the Mail on Sunday.

He wrote “The Problem with Immigrants” in 2015.

Derek has revealed he is no longer a Conservative.

He was Chair of the Foundation Board of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge from 2020 to 2023.

Derek is a Visiting Professor at London South Bank University.

He is a Partner in a Private Bank



Eugene Sully Eugene Sully came second place in the final.

He gained 42.7% of the vote to win against Anthony.

After Big Brother, Eugene had radio shows on a number of different radio stations.

Eugene volunteered on a hospital radio station.

He was a Radio Engineer at BBC Radio Scotland.

Eugene was later Senior Broadcast Engineer at BBC Look East.

He appeared on Dead Set, Eggheads, Test the Nation and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Eugene stood for the council election in Crawley, coming second.

He is currently a Senior Satellite Engineer for BBC News.



Kemal Shahin Kemal Shahin was evicted in week 9.

He gained 51.1% of the vote to evict against Orlaith.

After Big Brother, Kemal was in a relationship with Kinga for 6 months.

He launched a failed accessories website.

He featured in the advert for Channel 4s last season of BB.

Kemal released single “Through with Love”.

He changed gender becoming Zuleyka.

She now lives in America and attended Soka University of America.

Zuleyka has returned to the UK.

She was a hopeful for Miss Universe Great Britain.



Kinga Karolczak Kinga Karolczak was evicted in week 5.

She returned to the house and came 4th place in the final

She gained 4.1% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Kinga dated Kemal for 6 months after the show.

She appeared on Trisha and The Charlotte Church Show.

Kinga also appeared on Come Dine with Me, Dead Set and film Cash and Curry.

She wrote a column for the Daily Star and recorded a number of songs.

Kinga was a vlogger at The Kinga Show.



Lesley Sanderson Lesley Sanderson was evicted in week 2.

She gained 36% of the vote to evict.

After Big Brother, Lesley told the Daily Mail that Big Brother had ruined her life.

She won took the Sunday Sport and the Daily Star to court for false articles written about her.

Lesley was allegedly paid £175,000 in damages by Sunday Sport.

In 2011, she graduated from Wolverhampton University.

Lesley is now a counsellor.



Makosi Musambasi Makosi Musambasi came third place in the final.

She gained 8.7% of the vote to win.

After Big Brother, Makosi was in a relationship with musician 2face Idibia.

She appeared on Dead Set and Ultimate Big Brother.

She admitted that she had lied about having sex with Anthony

Makosi lost her nursing job and her visa.

She was deported after her asylum claim was refused.

In 2012, she attempted to enter the UK using a family members passport and was deported.

She was living in Nigeria and currently lives in Dubai.

Makosi hosted a show called Makosi Today.

She has released a book called Love Yourself, The Ultimate Choice.

Makosi is a life coach and public speaker.

She founded Sister's Keeper Foundation, a non-profit.



Mary O’Leary Mary O’Leary was evicted in week 1.

She gained 60% of the vote to evict against Craig.

After Big Brother, Mary was homeless for a short while.

She worked as a tarot reader in London.

Mary now owns a successful herbal remedies business.



Maxwell Ward Maxwell Ward was evicted in week 6.

He gained 57% of the vote to evict against Science.

After Big Brother, Maxwell and Saskia continued their relationship after the house.

They bought a house together but split up two years later.

The pair did a break up spread for OK! Magazine.

Maxwell has stayed out of the public eye.



Orlaith McAllister Orlaith McAllister voluntarily left the house in week 10.

She gained 57% of the vote to evict against Science.
