Big Brother series 2 was the second season of Big Brother UK.
The series ran from 14th July to 15th September 2001 and was presented by Davina McCall.
The Big Brother 2 house was located in Bow, London near to the 3 Mills Studios.
There were 11 series 2 contestants in this season.

Amma Antwi-Agyei was evicted in week 6.
She gained 64% of the vote to leave the house against Paul in the public vote.
After Big Brother, Amma starred in Sky One’s Dream Team, Night Fever.
She returned in Ultimate Big Brother in 2010 for the Who Is She? task.
Amma returned to University, studying Acting at the University of London.
She played the role of Maggie in Shutters at the Arcola Theatre in London.
Brian Dowling was the Big Brother 2 winner.
He won with 61% of the vote against Helen and Elizabeth.
After Big Brother, Brian starred in other TV shows including Hell’s Kitchen, where he came in third place.
He also appeared on Fáilte Towers and on a Come Dine with Me Big Brother winners special.
In 2010, he won Ultimate Big Brother and the title of Ultimate House mate.
He won with 49.21% of the vote against Nikki Grahame and Chantelle Houghton.
Brian had a showbiz spot on Radio 1 on Saturday mornings.
He also co-presented Live from Studio 5.
He presented Big Brother for Channel 5 from 2011-13, The Mint and SMTV Live from 2001-2003.
Brian had his own show called Brian’s Boyfriends.
He narrated The Salon and was a guest presenter on This Morning.
He also presents TV shows Sitting on a Fortune and presents and narrates The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
Brian has appeared in a number of pantomimes.
In 2020, Brian appeared as a contestant on Irish Dancing with the Stars and left after the first dance off.
He is currently presenter/narrator of The Real Housewives of Jersey.
Paul Bubble Ferguson was evicted in week 5.
He gained 53% of the vote to leave the house against Paul in the public vote.
After Big Brother, Bubble broke the world record for eating corn.
He released a World Cup single with fellow housemate Dean called “Standing Tall”.
This charted at number 99 in the UK singles chart.
Bubble appeared on various TV shows.
These include The Office Christmas Special, Dead Set and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
He appeared in panto, went to drama school to retrain and is now a drama teacher.
Bubble is married to actress Caroline Ruskell.
Dean O’Loughlin came third in the BBUK2 final.
He gained 5% of the vote to win against Brian, Helen and Elizabeth.
After Big Brother, Dean formed a company with Stuart, inventing the Tea Bag Bin.
Dean has written a book called Living in the Box: An Adventure in Reality TV.
He released a World Cup single with Bubble called “Standing Tall”.
This charted at number 99 in the UK Single chart.
Dean is a blogger and writes about his children and the realities of fatherhood.
He and his sister co-wrote two episodes of The Third Day.
Dean is Director of Portopia Productions.
Elizabeth Woodcock came fourth in the BBUK2 final.
He gained 2% of the vote against Brian, Dean and Helen.
After Big Brother, Elizabeth split with her boyfriend.
They split after he sold her naked photos to the press.
Elizabeth briefly returned to her previous career in web design.
She later became a writer and editor.
She made a documentary of a charity motorbike trip she made from Poland to Malta.
She travelled on a Yahama Fazer through 10 different countries in Europe.
Elizabeth received a “bitchy” letter from Germaine Greer.
Helen Adams came second in the BBUK2 final.
She gained 37% of the vote to win against Brian.
After Big Brother, Helen had many TV appearances.
She appeared on Lorraine, Loose Women, GMTV and appearing on Dead Set and Celebrity Fear Factor.
Helen released Dance Workout with Helen, a Dance Workout DVD in 2001.
Helen and Paul carried on their relationship but split up in 2006 after 5 years together.
Helen has gone back into hairdressing, has remarried and has a little girl.
Josh Rafter was evicted in week 7.
He gained 84% of the vote to leave the house against Helen in the public vote.
After Big Brother, Josh did a number of modelling jobs.
He has been part of a NHS campaign focusing on safe sex.
Josh supports a number of gay charities.
He is Managing Director of a London based property company called Outlet.
Josh is the Chairman of the Wig Party.
Narinder Kaur was evicted in week 4.
She gained 62% of the vote to leave the house against Paul in the public vote.
After Big Brother, Narinder made many appearances on TV shows.
These include BBLB and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. .
Narinder appeared in the Big Brother Panto.
She has also written a book on Big Brother.
Since leaving the house Narinder has three children with her husband.
She now lives in Newcastle.
Narinder was a bridesmaid at Brian’s wedding.
She became the front of an UK Campaign against forced marriages.
Narinder now works in social media and has an etsy shop.
Paul Clarke was evicted in week 8.
He gained 84% of the vote to leave the house against Helen in the public vote.
After Big Brother, Paul and Helen were in a relationship.
They split in 2006 after being together five years.
Paul returned to his previous career of designing cars.
He worked for Ford and Jaguar in their design departments.
Penny Ellis was evicted in week 1.
She gained 58% of the vote to leave the house against Helen in the public vote.
After Big Brother, Penny lost her job as a teacher due to appearing nude on the show.
Penny posed naked for a newspaper and gave many interviews to the press.
She appeared in a Jack and the Beanstalk panto, playing a fairy.
She also had a show on Liberty Radio.
Penny judged Miss Ireland in 2001.
She starred in a Big Brother special of The Weakest Link.
Penny has since returned to teaching and teaches at a private school.
Stuart Hosking was evicted in week 3.
He gained 86% of the vote to leave the house against Paul in the public vote.
After Big Brother, Stuart and fellow contestant Dean went into business together.
They invented the Tea Bag Bin.
Stuart made numerous TV appearances including breakfast TV show RISE and BBLB.
He also appeared on QVC, selling his product.
Stuart became a TV presenter and presented TV shows including BBLB, Sky News and QVC.
Stuart became a radio presenter and co-represented on radio shows including FOX FM and Capital Gold.
He had his own radio show on Mix 96 FM.
Stuart is now working in IT.
