Big Brother series 5 was the fifth season of Big Brother UK.
BB5 ran from 28th May to 6th August 2004.
There series was presented by Davina McCall.
The Big Brother 5 house was located in the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
There were 13 Big Brother series 5 contestants.

Ahmed Aghil was evicted in week 7.
He gained 56% of the vote to evict against Daniel, Nadia, Shell, Stuart and Victor.
After Big Brother, Ahmed became a radio Agony Uncle on Late Night Love.
In 2010, he returned to the Ultimate Big Brother house.
He was part of a task and was smashing plates in the garden.
Ahmed is a property investor.
Becki Seddiki was evicted in week 6.
She gained 62% of the vote to evict against Ahmed.
After Big Brother, Becki briefly dated Russell Brand.
She was disowned by her family for appearing on the show.
She is a singer/songwriter for band New Born Idols.
Becki has trained as an actress.
She appeared on stage in various productions.
Becki also had a DJ slot on Big L Radio from 2004-6.
She wrote a newspaper column in 2005.
In 2021, she was battling leukaemia.
She was diagnosed after seeking help for drug addiction.
Daniel Bryan came third in the final.
He came third with 17% of the vote to win.
After Big Brother, Daniel returned to his career as a hair stylist.
Alongside the role he worked in television.
Daniel worked with the BBC, reviewing TV shows.
He was a freelance radio producer.
Daniel left hairdressing in 2022 to run company The Falafia Ltd.
He was in band Ice House Project.
Emma Greenwood was removed in week 4 .
She was removed after being moved back into the bedsit following Fight Night.
After Big Brother, Emma and Victor had another big fight on MTV’s TRL show.
Emma appeared at many celebrity parties
She was a regular on Richard and Judy talking about BB.
Emma worked alongside Michelle Bass on Television X.
She lived with fellow housemate Marco for a while.
Emma got married in a surprise wedding to husband Ben.
The pair ran a interiors business that has since closed.
Jason Cowan came second place in the final.
He came second with 26% of the vote to win against Nadia.
After Big Brother, Jason appeared on other TV shows.
These included Commando VIP and GMTV.
Jason also went travelling to India and around Europe.
He has since become a personal trainer.
He was cleared of an assault charge in 2013.
Jason now lives in Scotland.
Kitten Pinder was ejected from the house in week 1.
She had been given three warnings prior to being removed from the house.
She refused to leave the house, losing the housemates £9000 from the prize money.
After Big Brother, Kitten was in court within days for failing to pay parking fines.
Kitten appeared in the Big Brother Panto.
She has since moved to Perth, Australia.
Kitten is active in local politics.
She is a community development coordinator.
Marco Sabba was evicted in week 5.
He gained 52% of the vote to evict against Michelle and Nadia.
After Big Brother, Marco appeared in west end show Little by Little.
He also appeared in the Big Brother Panto.
Marco returned to the Big Brother house in Ultimate Big Brother for a task.
He defended Nadia on Digital Spy over her conflicts with Coolio.
Marco returned to University, completing his law degree.
He later began working for Hillingdon Law Centre.
Michelle Bass was evicted in week 9.
She gained 67% of the vote against all of the remaining housemates.
After Big Brother, Michelle and Stu were in a relationship for a year.
Michelle appeared on The Weakest Link.
She has written articles and columns in OK! magazine and The Mirror.
Michelle became a model and glamour model.
She was presenter on Television X.
Michelle returned for Ultimate Big Brother, reaching the semi final.
She appeared in movie I Want Candy and an Aladdin pantomime.
In 2006, she released a dance track ‘Must Be The Music’.
It reached 27 in the dance chart.
Michelle married hypnotherapist Steve McKeown in 2010.
She is now a full time mum to their two children.
Nadia Almada was the Big Brother 5 winner.
She won with 74% of the vote to win against Jason.
After Big Brother, Nadia released a single ‘A Little Bit of Action’.
It reached number 27 in the UK singles chart.
She appeared on Hollyoaks, Big Fat Quiz of the Year and Come Dine With Me.
Nadia also appeared on Australian Big Brother.
In 2004, Nadia released a dance workout DVD called Latino Dance Workout.
In 2010, she returned for Ultimate Big Brother.
She proved unpopular with viewers due to her disagreements with other housemates.
Nadia complained to Ofcom about editing of her argument with Coolio.
It emerged that she had said and done worse that was not televised.
She has retrained as a hair stylist and is living in London.
Shell Jubin came fourth place in the final.
She gained 9% of the vote to win.
After Big Brother, Shell did a variety of glamour model shoots for lads mags.
She returned to an academic career after moving to the US.
Shell has worked at various art museums in major cities, working in curation.
She was as an assistant to artist Andy Goldsworthy.
Shell currently teaches Art History.
She has married and is now a mother.
Stuart Wilson came fifth place in the final.
He gained 7% of the vote to win.
After Big Brother, Stuart was in a relationship with Michelle Bass for a year.
They split up as he didn’t approve of her glamour modelling.
He auditioned for a boy band called Son of Dork.
Stuart graduated after completing his degree.
He is said to have married and has a child with his wife.
Vanessa Nimmo was evicted in week 4.
She gained 86% of the vote to evict against Daniel.
After Big Brother, Vanessa dated Ben Fogle.
She became a glamour model, often appearing in shoots with Michelle.
She also did promotions work in Leeds including promoting Carphone Warehouse.
Vanessa also appeared in Bravo TV’s Catfight.
She did a charity road trip to Cape Town.
Vanessa is currently a PA for an investment company based in Leeds.
She has trained in accounting.
Vanessa married and had a son.
Victor Ebuwa was evicted in week 8.
He gained 47% of the vote against Daniel, Jason and Nadia.
After Big Brother, Victor started working in stocks and investment banking.
He appeared on Celebrity Poker Club.
Victor returned to Theatre School.
He has appeared in a few plays.
Victor was co-host of podcast The Rival Show.
